Some girl shower necessities that make showering super relaxing and enjoyableThe way I see it — showers are for unwinding and relaxing. I’m not a bath person, but I do love a little bit of luxury in the shower. Some small adjustments and a few extra products can really change your shower experience. Today I want to share how I make my shower time just as relaxing as taking a bath and what products are my favorite!

Shower Necessities! The single most important item in my shower is my sound-bot speaker! If I am spending extra time in the shower [being luxurious, of course] then music is definitely needed! This speaker connects to your phone, plays your music and allows you to change + pause the song. The best part — if your phone rings,  you can answer it right from the bot.

If you are a woman, a mirror in the shower is a must! This little mirror is fog-free and helps out so much. I can’t tell you how many times I get out of the shower [thinking I have a clean face] with mascara + makeup still all over my eyes.

And then of course, my loofah, a razor and a bar of dove soap. It’s important to replace your loofa every month or two. When you use it, you are scrubbing off dead skin and I just feel that all of my dead skin cells are trapped inside, so I replace this thing often!

Amazing Shower Necessities! You guys know I am partial to Moroccan Oil, which is my favorite shampoo + conditioner. This product’s scent lasts in your hair literally for days. The first thing I do in the shower is wash my hair. Right after that I will put some conditioner on my ends and throw my hair up in a clip for the remainder of the shower, which is why I have one in there :) Having a clip in the shower is a must for me because something about long, wet hair sticking to my body just freaks me out!

After that I will wash my face with my Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub. To be honest with you, I am on the hunt for a new face wash. It’s a great product that I have used for a super long time but I’m interested to see what else is out there!

Following that I will put some Aveda Deep Cleansing Herbal Clay Mask that I let that sit on my face for about 5 minutes. I use this product every 3-4 showers just to keep up with my skincare regimen.

And of course, my favorite exfoliant! The Lush Cosmetics *Rub Rub Rub* Shower Scrub. This product is heavenly. Its a shower scrub that turns somewhat soapy once mixed with water. This makes your skin super soft and smooth, it’s addicting! Not to mention, it smells wonderful. I like to exfoliate my skin once per week! It helps especially with the cold weather.

So that is how I like to keep my shower time luxurious!
What do you do to make your shower time relaxing and peaceful ??

  1. I was using that same shampoo + conditioner for a bit!! I switch it up so much, but I loved it! Dove bar is my go-to as well, and OMG leaving a clip in the shower is kind of genius.

  2. First off we’re twinks because I too HATE long wet hair on my back. Even when I get out of the shower it grosses me out! Second, try Philosophy Purity face wash. It takes ALL my makeup off even if I don’t use a makeup remover first. Also it doesn’t leave your face super dry afterwards where you’re scared to make an expression before you put moisturizer on. It’s the only cleanser I’ll use. ?

  3. I have not tried Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner. May be on my bucket list! I love their oil hair treatment. It smells amazing. Are the S/C safe for color-treated hair?
